I am head of the Integrated Simulations Group at the VRVis Research Center for Virtual Reality and Visualization. Since completion of my master studies in Technical Physics, I have been working in the area of flood simulation and geospatial visualization. My PhD thesis demonstrates Visdom as a decision support system for flood management. I am a core developer and co-founder of the Visdom framework.
